I have been interested in writing for a long time. It is exciting to figure what one should do for the rest of their life, so it came as a surprise when it just came to me to be a writer. I dreamt about being on a set a few years back, making me question how films were made and how they were written out. I started writing scripts and short stories non-stop, sharing them with friends and captivating the professional creativity it can bring to my life. I overcame the struggle to make scripts and other cinema projects while on a deadline by organizing my time responsibly and approaching each task one at a time to be completed. I went to high school at St. Francis in Grand Traverse County and now am graduating from University of Iowa. I went on Study Abroad in Paris and took Advanced Screenwriting to help my writing abilities grow and learn more of film’s cultural influence around the world. As a hobby, I have taken up poetry and have found it to be satisfying to do as it gets my wonderful thoughts and ideas written down on paper.
Ebony and Moon (comedy series): After reconnecting with an ex-best friend and her family again, a girl ends up living with them. She now needs to balance their lives and hers while managing her grandfather’s restaurant. Tone consisting of humor and heart wrenching moments as it literally divides the show into those two emotions. It is a symbolic show towards its visuals and dialogue with birds and fishes – and the colors orange and green – to pay homage to the poem “The Fish who Loved a Bird” by Lycus.
Two sisters’ arguing over the party they’ve thrown. One accuses the other of not being able to take a chance at life while the other accuses her sister of regretting her decision to not throw a party.
Through only visuals and no dialogue, a girl has lost her grandfather and heads back to her hometown to comfort her grandmother. It begins and ends with flowers being given.
More to a stage audio play with dialogue and sound effects mostly. Marcus and Isaiah are two best friends challenging each other to do stunts that will decide who is the best stunt person.
Heart To Fly The Butterfly always runs away from me. * It’s a special butterfly since it’s a blue monarch butterfly. * It usually is followed with a group over in the spring, but its winter. * Only one is found outside as a blizzard begins to grow in the north. * I feel, though, this butterfly is protected by some sort of field of warmth. * It flies down on my porch as it flaps its wings, making the snow look like rain coming off its ends. * I was memorized by its beauty. * Such a delicate creature. * Oh, how I love nature. * My mother called me to go inside for dinner. * I told her I’ll be out in a minute as I turned my head to say it. * I looked back and noticed the butterfly is gone. * It never came back. * It just flew farther away. * I just hate her disappearance. * I could have catched her. * Now her memory is the only thing left.
A Tough Raven You are strong and powerful. People didn’t see it through your height. And gender—but so what? You are more than that physically. You break others with your words. You fight on to keep going on your journey. You are loving to all the people who are close to you. You want to rebel to get back control in your life. I do apologize for the hurt, you deserve more. But let’s not forget who you are with this question. Of why it happened to you Not your fault, but don’t put walls over you. Stay strong with others, keep letting them in. You are a strong and tough Raven. Bring out Allan Poe’s pain but make it your power. Your power helps you find yourself. But know I’m here. The Raven Messenger I can be. Just know the raven flies with purpose. Keep your purpose… nonsense you shall quote.
